Shipping Guidelines
Delivery time is normally 3-5 business days and may take up to 4 weeks for international shipping.
Payment Options
PayPal is preferred. Money Orders and Cashiers Checks are also accepted. Please contact us within 10 days after your winning bid in order to avoid cancellation and relisting of the item.
Shipping
Carriers - International orders will be shipped via USPS Global Exprees and USPS Global Priority Mail. Contact us via e-mail for a shipping quote and customs fees. US orders will be shipped via UPS Ground, USPS Parcel Post & USPS Express Mail (Overnight).
Tracking Number - You will receive an e-mail once your order has been shipped giving you the shipping company's name. You will also be provided with a link containing your tracking number so you can monitor your orders shipping status. Money Orders, Cashiers Checks and over the phone credit card payments do not generate automated tracking # e-mails.
Customs - Tariffs, Taxes, Duties, Fees
CSI SURPLUS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DUTIES, TAXES, OR OTHER FEES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY CUSTOMS WHEN YOUR PACKAGE REACHES YOUR COUNTRY. Customs taxes for your country will be calculated based on the items replacement value; however we are unable to provide you with information about duties, taxes, or other fees that may originate once the package arrives in your country. By placing an order with CSI Surplus, you agree to accept any and all charges that may be in addition to regular shipping and customs costs. If you choose to not pay for these fees, then you abandon your package and are not entitled to any refund. Once the package leaves the United States, the package is your responsibility to either claim or abandon. For our mutual protection, all packages are insured for the exact value of your order. We will NOT tell a shipping company that the value of the package is less than it actually is, or state "NO COMMERCIAL VALUE".
Check with your local authorities: Some of our products may be restricted for import and possession in your country. It is your responsibility to ensure that the product you are ordering is legal to possess. Although we may not be restricted by United States law to export an item, it may still be unlawful for you to import and/or possess these items. As the buyer you become the importer of record and it is your responsibility to ensure that you are abiding by all local and international laws pertaining to importing and possessing anything you receive from CSI Surplus. No refunds will be given for packages confiscated by customs outside the United States.
If your shipment is confiscated by customs: If your shipment is confiscated by United States customs, you may be entitled to a refund or reshipment. However, once the package leaves the United States, it then becomes your responsibility, and not the responsibility of CSI Surplus, to either reclaim or abandon the shipment. No refunds will be issued for packages confiscated by customs outside the United States.
Shortage/Damage
Please unpack your order and report any shortage or damage immediately. Insurance is recommened for all orders shipped via USPS. UPS insures orders up to $100 without requiring additional charges. All USPS & UPS damage claims must be made with the carrier. If the driver is still present, ask that the damage be noted. This will expedite shipping claims. Do not discard product or packaging. The carrier may wish to inspect the package before paying a claim. CSI Surplus is not responsible for any delay caused by the shipping company. In the event of a shorrtage, call or e-mail us immediately. Items that are auctioned "AS IS" will be refunded if damage is determined to have been caused by the shipping company; otherwise these items have no warranty. Items sold "AS IS" cannot be returned unless otherwise noted.
Discrepancies
Please inspect your shipment carefully upon arrival. Customers have 5 days from delivery to report any discrepancy between what items were ordered and what was actually shipped.
