Not only will the EL2210's non-stick coating preserve the life of your clothing by reducing the stress on the fabric, it also inhibits oxidation which can permanently stain clothing.  The substandard non-stick coatings applied to other irons can promote rather than inhibit oxidation and literally destroy your clothing.  Do not compromise your valuable apparel by exposing it to a cheap painted on non-stick coating.
