AMG REVIEW (for CD Version): The Pooh Sticks were nothing but a series of jokes, but some jokes are funnier than others. Everything about this bootleg-feel (but officially sanctioned by Fierce Records owner Steve Gregory, the Pooh Sticks' not-quite-behind-the-scenes Svengali) live recording is dead-on, from the deliberately amateurish cover art to the album title, a winking nod to the premier bootleg label of the '70s; it's intended to make the album feel like something sold under the counter or at trade fairs. Unfortunately, this plodding live set makes that dangerous slip from willful amateurishness to bored incompetence. Despite frontman Hue Williams' game showmanship, the band is loose and sloppy, and the songs just sort of peter out more than they come to an end. This is the sort of thing usually labeled "for fans only," but even fans should stick with the much better live album, Orgasm. The CD version adds three extra tracks from a contemporaneous single, including a rough-and-ready version of the Vaselines' "Dying for It" that has all the charm the album proper lacks.

CONDITION: The record & cover are in near mint condition (played once).

GRADING: I pretty much use the Goldmine & Record Collector magazines standards for grading, I can send you a link for details in depth about record/cover grading. My other items like CD's & books go by the same grading system as a general guide, I've been selling records & CD's professionally for over 20 years now & I try to be accurate in my grading (read my feedbacks on that, I rarely mis-grade, records are always VISUALLY graded only unless stated) & I do not accept best offer, prices are firm.

PAYMENT INFO/RULES: Please contact me within 3 days of the end of the auction to confirm you got my end of auction info or just pay directly through PayPal if you want at the end of the auction (most of you do this). Buyer pays shipping & payment is expected within 10 days after the auction ends (14 for foreign customers, I will allow even longer if money is sent by registered mail), on day 10 (or 14 for foreign customers) I'll send a non payment warning (which means you have 7 days left to make payment once you get the warning from ebay). Negative feedback will always be left for non payers (& positive feedback if you pay me in a timely manner). I always try to contact the winner within 24 hours of getting payment to let them know I received it & when the item is going out.

Credit card payments are available but ONLY through PayPal, which is my preferred method of payment, Money orders, checks, & a few other payment methods are fine (no direct bank deposits or direct credit card payments though) & I only accept payment in USA funds (PayPal will automatically convert your foreign money to dollars for you foreign buyers, 95+% of all my payments now come through paypal & is highly recommended). Bunch your items up to save on shipping, I tend to run a lot of the same bands/type of music at the same time. Most cleared payments go out within 24 hours (& I’m working by myself here so you are only communicating with me & not a bunch of people & I'm at my computer several times a day & rarely miss a day checking emails).

SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES:

LP SHIPPING VARIOUS INFO: I use real coated cardboard LP mailers when I ship vinyl & these are very durable. I usually take the records with the inner sleeves out of the covers (unless factory sealed) so they don't split the seams of the cover in shipment. Then I put them in a 3 mil plastic sleeve & then wrap a plastic bag around them to keep them from flopping around in the mailer, this method seems to work best (keeps the LP's usually under a pound & saves a lot on shipping rates worldwide compared to using cardboard inserts, had no breakage yet in HUNDREDS of shipments this way), if I added cardboard it also would make the weight of it more prone to the corners getting dented in transit. 10" records & 12" singles count as 1 LP for shipping. Single laserdiscs count as 2 LP's for shipping. All records are black vinyl unless noted & inserts/ gatefold covers/posters/custom inner sleeves will be noted in description if they are included & cutout marks stated if they are.

LP SHIPPING IN THE USA:
1 single record is $5.50 for priority mail & each additional record is $1 extra at this rate(double LP sets count as 2 LP for shipping).
$3 for media rate mail & each additional record is 50 cents.

LP SHIPPING FOR FOREIGN CUSTOMERS:
Airmail postage to Canada is $5.50 for 1 LP or $7 for 2 LP's $2 each additional LP.
Airmail postage to Europe is $11 for 1 LP or $14 for 2 LP's & $3 each additional LP.
Airmail postage to Japan/New Zealand/Australia is $12 for 1 LP & $15 for 2 LP's $3 each additional LP.

FOREIGN LP SHIPPING BY SURFACE MAIL (usually 4 to 6 weeks but can take much longer, allow a full 3 months!):
Canada $4 for 1 LP or $6 for 2 LP's
Europe $5.50 for 1 LP or $7.50 for 2 LP's
Japan/New Zealand/Australia is $6 for 1 LP or $8 for 2 LP's

INSURANCE IN THE USA:
is $1.30 for any size order. Insurance is the customers responsibility.

OTHER FOREIGN INFO: I very much welcome my foreign customers, a full 1/3 to maybe 1/2 of all my ebay sales go overseas now so I've become quite used to dealing with overseas bidders. Registration & insurance is $8 extra per package, only covers about $40 value but is the safest method (slower than regular airmail, 2 to 3 weeks on average, this is automatically free if the package goes to 4 pounds & then will ship by air parcel post & then the insurance will cover $80 value). I rarely have any foreign mail shipped out that gets lost but recommend this on very expensive packages or if you are having problems with your mail. Insurance is the customers responsibility.

These shipping rates are what I charge unless something significantly weighs more or has elaborate packaging this will then be stated in the auction description first paragraph. These rates are averaged based on my actual costs of shipping & handling (not trying to make money on my shipping & handling just break even if possible).
