We lost our wheaten terrier buddy Calvin on 5/22
My original inspiration for creating my doggie bandanas to begin with
so it is going to be tough to get back in the swing, but I'm going to do my best.
Thanks to Calvin we have lots of bandana buddies and I'm going to make him proud.
This fabric has been cut to make a dog bandana as large as 28" --
Suitable for the larger-medium to smaller-large dog
so be sure to let me know the finished length you want when you make payment.
The bandana should tie loosely around the neck with AT LEAST a couple inch hang of fabric on each side of the knot.
My general rule of thumb is: take a loose measurement of the neck (NOT THE COLLAR SIZE)
And to that add AT LEAST 10 inches to allow for:
3 inches for the knot itself, another 3 inches to allow for fabric shrinkage, weight of fabric, etc and then 4 inches
to allow for a 2" hang of fabric on each side of the knot.
Calvin weighed about 35 pounds. His loose neck size after going to the groomer & getting his hairs cut was 14"
So 14" + 10" = 24" --
he could wear a bandana as small as 24"
but I generally made him a 28"
so that when his hair was long & thick it was still long enough.
When his hair was shorter, I just rolled it a time or two at the top, just as I would for my own scarves.
Also makes it easier to tie.

Each bandana is fully reversible with the same pattern repeated on both sides of the bandana (unless described otherwise above).
It is handmade from quilt quality fabric.
I do everything I can to make sure that no matter how much you invest in your bandana
that it will be rugged enough to last your friend a L-O-N-G time.
I wash my own doggie bandanas with a gentle liquid laundry soap and in cold water.
