From a painting by Pierre-Joseph Redoute originally published in the 3-volume work Les Liliacees (The Lilies; 1802-1816).
This lovely book print was lithographically reproduced in Spain from the hand-colored edition
in the rare manuscript collection of the Univeristy Library, Tubingen.
It is printed on heavy, high-quality ivory-colored stock. About 10 by 13 inches overall size (about 26 by 33 cm).
Name of the plant is given at the bottom in French, English and Latin.
