Engine
Kawasaki 17HP air cooled engine comes with a 3way catalytic type muffler which is virtually emissions free, 0 – 3 parts per million. This engine exceeds the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resource Board (CARB) regulations for exhaust emissions.
DECKS:
This machines comes with a 3/8” thick aluminum deck to insure the least vibration and maximum engine heat dissipation, it is also powder coated for exceptional durability and appearance. The color is “Black Wrinkle”. This macine also features TOP OF MACHINE ACCESS MEANING THE OPERATOR OR MECHANIC CAN SERVICE THE DRIVE SYSTEM WITHOUT TURNING THE MACHINE TO ITS SIDE ( IMAGINE TURNING YOUR CAR OVER TO GIVE IT A TUNE UP YUP THAT SOUNDS STUPID TO ME ALSO)
HANDLE:
The handle is fabricated from ¼” X 2” steel with heavy duty tank strap and adjustable “T” handle. Down swept handle grips for long term operator comfort. The handle also comes with a heavy duty tank strap, and is powder coated with “Black Wrinkle.
ELECTRIC START
12 volt assited electric start with a rating of 18AH/20HR non spillable battery ( this is enough battery for evan the biggest Harley out there) that is connected to high currant Tecumseh starter
BALANCING:
Balancing is created in such a way that this 27” burnishers sits with the pad off the floor when not running. When this machines is started and throttled up it literally sucks itself to the floor creating a head pressure of up to 30 lbs. with little or no pull operation. Lets face it, a machine an operator can handle is a safer machine, and we all strive for no accidents.
PAD DRIVER ASSEMBLY:
The pad is attached to a flexible coupler which allows 180 degrees of flex to accommodate uneven floors without burning or skipping. This 27" model has a heavy duty spun aluminum pad plate with Velcro discs and spin on pad centering devices. (Ever hit a shelf while using a plastic pad plate spinning at over 2000 RPM) "YUP" you can relax with this heavy duty plate.
BURNISHER DRIVE ASSEMBLIES:
This 27” burnishers features notched double V-Belt, 2 groove cast pulley and custom machined drive shafts with a ¾-10 spin off plate for easy removal of pad driver. The belt is tensioned by a swing plate type idler arm with attached idler pulley, and is adjustable without turning over or even tilting the machine.
