Engine
Kawasaki 17HP air cooled engine comes with a 3way catalytic type muffler which is virtually emissions free, 0 – 3 parts per million. This engine exceeds the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resource Board (CARB) regulations for exhaust emissions.
DECKS:
This machines comes with a 3/8” thick aluminum deck to insure the least vibration and maximum engine heat dissipation, it is also powder coated for exceptional durability and appearance. The color is “Black Wrinkle”. This macine also features TOP OF MACHINE ACCESS MEANING THE OPERATOR OR MECHANIC CAN SERVICE THE DRIVE SYSTEM WITHOUT TURNING THE MACHINE TO ITS SIDE ( IMAGINE TURNING YOUR CAR OVER TO GIVE IT A TUNE UP YUP THAT SOUNDS STUPID TO ME ALSO)
HANDLE:
The handle is fabricated from ¾” tube steel and 1/8” steel plate with adjustable hand grip and heavy duty tank strap. This handle is powder coated with “Black Wrinkle”.
ELECTRIC START
12 volt assited electric start with a rating of 18AH/20HR non spillable battery ( this is enough battery for evan the biggest Harley out there) that is connected to high currant Tecumseh starter
BALANCING:
Balancing is created in such a way that this 30" stripper spins with minimal vibration. The balancing is done by a wheel/tire balancer that isalso used in the automotive industry.
BRUSH DRIVER ASSEMBLY:
Each brush is attached to a flexible coupler which allows 180 degrees of flex to accommodate uneven floors without burning or skipping. This 30" model has a heavy duty aluminum brush plate made from MIC6 tool plate, and also features a gear belt drive in the drum to eliminate belt slippage in wet stripping conditions. (Gear belt drives are three times more durable than V-belts). PDK is the only company that builds their machines with this durable belt system.
STRIP MACHINE DRIVE ASSEMBLIES:
The 3000T 30” stripper uses a shielded double V Belt cast pulleys and custom machined drive shafts with a ¾-10 spin off drum for easy removal of the brush driver. This system also comes with a centrifugal clutch that produces 200 RPM dual action drum speed and 500 – 1000 RPM throttle controlled speed. Belt maintenance may be done without turning over or even tilting the machine.
