- Multiple Job Codes may be set up for each employee.
- When the employee clocks in, they will be able to select which job
they are working during that shift.
- Employees may only select to work job codes assigned to them. For
example, if Bob only has job codes CASHIER and JANITOR assigned to him, he
may not log in as a COOK.
- A shift report can be printed at the end of each shift. The printout

Frequent Diners & Customer Loyalty
Now you have a tool to increase sales. Give incentives to your loyal
customers through the use of our easy-to-use frequent diner program to keep
them coming back. You can set up predetermined limits; for instance the
customer has to eat at your restaurant at least 5 times before the program
goes into effect. Then set up a dollar amount; an example would be when they
reach $200 in sales they will receive a $20 credit at your store. The
process is automatic and can easily be tracked by phone number, customer

Customer Credits

This can have a number of uses. Example - A customer calls in and asks
for the manager. He states that he had a bad experience at the restaurant,
his food was cold and his server was exasperating. Now you have a tool to
help keep good customers in these situations without the necessity of being
at the restaurant when the customer returns. You can offer them a "customer
credit" for any dollar amount you choose. When the customer comes in for
their next visit any employee with appropriate permission can retrieve the
credit and apply it to the customer's ticket using the customer's name, or

Fast customer checkout.
When it comes to credit card processing, a
customer normally waits between 20 and 30 seconds just to have their card
processed. To a server rushing to take care of customers, this seems like a
long time. Aldelo for Restaurants works with PC Charge Payment Server or
Aldelo EDC Server to process credit cards using a high-speed internet
connection. What used to take 20 to 30 seconds to process (via modem) now
takes between 3 to 5 seconds with a high-speed connection.
These days, more and more businesses are outfitting their locations with
high-speed internet access like DSL or cable modem. If you have this high
speed internet service, then you can have the speed of internet credit card
processing and check out your customers at least 50% faster.
The credit card processing program runs in the background. When Aldelo does
a credit card transaction, it passes the information along to PC Charge or
Aldelo EDC Server to process the credit card. Then the processing program
gives Aldelo back the answer from the credit card processor. This whole
operation works seamlessly and in the background within 3 to 5 seconds when
using it over the internet.
