To insure we actually have the product
available to sell, DWSkis typically only uses the quantity = 1 eBay
format. 95% of the time, we have more pairs of that model ski available
so feel free to send us an email if the ski you were watching
"disappears" since the re-listing process typically has a couple day
delay. Should you be interested in multiple pairs of something, please
send us an email or call us for information. DWSkis makes an effort to
list everything we have available in close-out product inside our eBay
store. We also stock a huge inventory of current year products and note
their availability in our store banners. Please call us for information
regarding those products.
ALL SKIS and BINDINGS ARE "RETAIL STORE GRADE" PRODUCTS
-they are not factory seconds or mismatched merchandise
unless listed as such. We do run across special deals once in a while on "mismatched
skis" or "scratched products" from mishandling at the
warehouse/retail level and those products will be specifically listed
with what does not make them to be first quality.
ALL PICTURES are of the actual product you are purchasing, We do not use
factory /ski shop pictures of any skis (all photo's are done by us) to
insure that the product you receive will be EXACTLY as it is shown. We
regularly see "generic" pictures in our competitors listings which do
not represent what you are actually purchasing. You need to be beware of
these other eBay sellers that call products something else or
"conveniently" leave out relevant information on what is being supplied
to you - we unfortunately see it all the time. Remember - it's only a
better deal if they actually ship you what you think you bought.
CLOSE OUT ski pricing to
us is market based. This means that
we pay more from the factory for popular sizes of
popular skis. What this means is if you see some popular ski in a
unpopular length, do not expect them to be the same price as the same
ski in a length people want; when we pay more - you pay more. Fixed,
flat pricing only applies to current year products in this business
making comparison shopping on close-out products only relevant when you
are looking at the EXACT same product in every detail. DWSkis can
typically "match" our US competitors prices on the same product, so
please just ask and we will see what can be done to adjust our price to
match it. Remember - the product must be exactly the same thing.

PICK UP'S:
Yes you may pick up gear from us or just
come to shop. We have a couple 1000 pairs of skis on racks in a retail
setting should you prefer to make your purchase in that fashion. Our
actual store is located 70 miles east of Denver out I-70 and is
approximately the same distance from Colorado Springs via Hwy 24. All
products are the same price as they are listed on the internet and we
offer "while you wait" mounting so your new gear is ready for the snow
after leaving our store. We do not have regular hours but are instead
open when you want us to be open - just call ahead before coming. Should
you choose to fly into our local airport here, we are happy to pick you
up and take you back to your plane.
PAYMENT METHOD'S:
We accept Paypal for credit cards and electronic checks (e-checks take 5
days for clearance).
We also accept Money Orders (add 7 days for delivery) and Personal
Checks (add 14 days for delivery).
Direct Credit Card charges with American Express, Visa and Master Card are also
available – Please call us at 719-775-8181 and we will be happy to
complete your purchase with our CC system.
Contact (via email) to seller must be preformed with in 3
days of purchase or you risk negative feedback from us. We must pay eBay
when the "Buy it Now" purchase is committed to, (not after your payment)
so please understand this and follow through with your purchase.
US SHIPPING &
DELIVERY:
All merchandise is shipped via
US
(Priority) Mail and includes Delivery Conformation. Deliveries
take approximately 3-4 days from time of order to receipt of your new gear. Sorry – we do not use any other carriers for shipping
since the Post Office shipping dock is 80 FT behind our back building
and they run 4 trucks per day to the distribution center. The last truck
leaves at 7:15PM MST making it possible for us to ship your order placed
on the same day.
The delivery confirm number which has some tracking capability is
available if requested. This system will not tell you where your package
is between your Post Office and ours but does tell you if your Post
Office attempted to deliver your purchase.
Shipping is performed (in most cases) the same day your payment is
received. We do periodically get backlogged where it may take up to 48
hours to ship your product. Please include a note if you have a tight
timetable and we will do everything possible to ship you your gear ASAP.
If you are on vacation at a ski resort/ hotel, DWSkis will ship there or
to that resorts Post Office "general delivery" allowing you to
immediately enjoy your new skis.
Most Post Offices will only attempt once to deliver your new skis to
your door, should you not be home, you will receive a slip which will
require you to pick them up at your local Post Office. DWSkis will also ship
to your place of work on request. Leaving a package on your porch (or
elsewhere) must be arranged between you and your Mail carrier since we
are not able to make that type of request on our end.
Express Mail service is available (next day delivery) but be warned that
these charges will double (and sometimes triple) your shipping expense.

Combined item shipping at a discount is available. Unlike
other eBay sellers, DWSkis attempts to ship at cost. Please email us
should you have any questions about combined shipments. On multi
ski/binding orders which exceed 30 LBS, Parcel Post shipping is also
available. This method typically is 1/2 of the Priority Mail rate and
delivery takes approximately 10 days. We do have box size limits so call
or email us for details
All skis are shipped in our custom built "ski box" which has
been specially designed to prevent damage to your new skis. We want you
to be the one to put your 1st scratches on them, not us and for this
reason insurance is not offered or needed.
INTERNATIONAL
SHIPPING:
DWSkis ships skis
everywhere in the world via Global Express Mail. You pay the
actual rate (no mark-up). Delivery using this method eliminates broker/
processing fee’s but you will still need to pay your value added/ sales
tax based on the value placed on the customs processing papers. We
automatically make this “tax” as painless as we possibly can.
The Global Express Mail rate is based on the package weight;
skis alone, typically weigh 9 to 12 LBS and when shipped with bindings,
the weight is typically 18 to 21 LBS. Please follow the enclosed link to
get an idea on these charges. We are limited to the package size so
please do not plan on us shipping more then 2 pairs of skis and bindings
in the same box. Delivery takes around a week and this shipping method
comes with an internet package tracking system.
DWSkis will use Air Mail shipping for ski bindings and ski
shipment to Canada. Please be advised, this method is terribly slow so
if you are not willing to wait 3+ weeks for your package, do not
consider this method.

WARRANTY / GUARANTEE:
If you are not satisfied with your
merchandise, you may return it. We have a “no questions asked” return
policy but everything must be returned un-opened and still in the
factory wrappers / box and repackaged as it was shipped to you. We do not
have a re-stocking charge and the return shipping is at your at your
expense. All refunds are processed within 10 days of your return.
Most of the products we sell do carry the original Manufactures
Warranty; we are a regular dealer and will assist you with any issues
which arise should a product sold by us have a problem. Common sense is needed with
such claims on our older products especially they are being heavily discounted and in many cases, nothing equal is being made by the
manufacture.This never seems to be an issue on 1 year old products from
the manufacture but gets much trickier on 2+ year old products. Typically
when your purchase
is older then 30 days, resolving such issues can be a problem and will be handled on a case by case basis
should something be blatantly wrong. To put your mind at ease a little
here, the defect rate of products is below .01% making the risk of you
having any problems extremely low. If your skis are damaged or
defective upon receipt from us, we are more than happy to replace them or supply
you with a refund. This offer does not cover gear that has been used
skiing.
Should there be a problem with your purchase caused by
DWSkis, (IE wrong product shipped) all shipping expenses will be paid by
us to correct the problem. This “paid shipping” policy does not include
compatibly issues caused by the incorrect product being purchased without
our knowledge of your intended use for it - please just ask us 1st to
avoid this problem.
SHOP WORK:
We are asked to
MOUNT BINDINGS all the
time. Most of the newer products now built by ski manufactures have an
integrated binding system or are pre-drilled by the factory requiring
only assembly with a large Phillips screwdriver to install bindings onto
your skis. The information needed to allow you to mount your own
bindings should you be a little mechanically inclined comes with your
new ski bindings. We do not offer a "partial" mount like other suppliers
since this service really is of no benefit to you, is dangerous, only
sounds good and has no practical value. The "finial set" part of the
installation requires your ski boot to be physically here in our shop.
If your plans are to take them into a local shop anyway, the cost
difference between a "set" and a "mount/set" is nil so you gain nothing
by us doing 1/2 the job. Should you choose to assemble your bindings
onto your new skis yourself, we offer help with any questions you may
have over the phone. We have found that offering this service is far
superior to sending you a 1/2 done mounting job. Learning how to put
your bindings onto your skis basically insures that you know what it
will take to complete the set-up process. It should also be noted that
shipping skis with bindings attached is also much more complicated to
correctly box so they are not damaged during the shipping process.
Remember - we don't just "toss" skis into a big box so they can rattle
around on their way to you; we custom pack every shipment to insure your
new gear arrives in perfect condition.
If you have purchased a "flat" product (no
pre-drilled plate on them) from us, DWSkis can drill your new skis (when
requested) to allow you to do your own binding assembly. Please contact
us with those requests so we can determine if it's feasible to offer
this service to you.
