When ordering an item that must go freight, it is much easier for it to be shipped to a commercial address. If you own a business or know someone who owns a business, that will allow the item to be shipped to their business. In that case fill in the business address for the shipping address and fill in your address for the billing address. Merchandise that UPS will not ship must be shipped by truck and is called freight. Trucking companies will ship only to commercial addresses. If you don't know someone with a business, we will have the item shipped to the nearest trucking terminal. In this case, you will be notified by the freight company when the item has reached the terminal, and you will be responsible for picking up the item at the trucking terminal.
Upon receiving your shipment inspect, the package carefully. Note any damage to the box or carton on the freight bill before signing. If box or item is severely damaged then you may refuse the shipment. If there is any damage to the item, you must call the freight carrier (contact information will be on the bill) and file a claim. The freight carrier will then handle the claim. DyersOnline cannot be responsible for the condition of your merchandise upon receipt. Please make sure you inspect carefully for any damage prior to signing receipt.
Before taking delivery of merchandise you must open all packages/boxes to inspect products for damage. If damage is found you may refuse merchandise at your option. Notify Dyers Online so that arrangements may be made to re-send replacement merchandise. *****ONCE YOU SIGN THE SHIPPERS RECEIPT YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGED MERCHANDISE....YOU ARE RELEASING THE FREIGHT COMPANY.
