Our company name is Moto-Cycle Parts, Inc. We are on the web as well as have approximately 11,000 square feet of shop and warehouse area in De Soto and Earlham, Ia USA respectively. We buy, sell, trade, repair and sell both new and used parts serving the total cycle industry. It is our drive and passion.
We work on all models of bikes from the 1960's to present. Our specialties include; carb rebuilds, tank clean and coat, wheel truing, tire changes and balancing and electrical troubleshooting. Send us your sick parts and we can make them well.
We have been in business for over 16 years so buy with confidence. We have over 500 salvage bikes, sleds, scooters, mopeds and atvs from the '50's through the mid '80's.

If you are thin skinned and this auction text offends you in any way shape or form, go away as you will not be able to hang with normal world purchase functions and that is what happens here daily.
Please look at pictures and read the entire auction text before buying/bidding or asking questions. Asking for shipping amounts when a shipping calculator is posted on the front of every auction page is a huge waste of time. Believe the calculator. It is correct 99.9% of the time.
TERMS:
We reserve the right to stop this auction at any time in the event of a listing error.
We do not reveal reserve if there is one nor do we stop auctions early to sell an item. We have plenty of buy it now merchandise in our Ebay store if you absolutely have to buy something right this instant.
No bidders under the age of 18 please! This is the advice of our legal department and we try to heed what they say to keep ourselves out of a potential jam. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Payment is due within 5 working days. Payment accepted forms are Paypal, money order or cashiers check. If not received in a "reasonable" amount of time then it will be relisted and appropriate action taken. This is serious business not a game. If you are having trouble paying with Paypal you are probably trying to pay with echeck or the system reads your debit card as an echeck. We do not accept echeck (see paragraph below).
WE DO NOT ACCEPT ECHECKS AS EVERYONE SEEMS TO WANT THEIR ITEMS DELIVERED FAST AND IT CAN SOMETIMES TAKE LONGER THAN A WEEK FOR THEM TO CLEAR. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. EVER!
Just so you know, if you ask a question that is covered in this text, it will be ignored as our mail rate is insane enough now. This is not a dodge. It is just that we would rather deal with folks that read the text and genuinely want to purchase something not just waste our time. We are trying to use what time we have to give good customer service to our paying patrons.

REGULAR PARTS SALES
We hope you bid on our products. We ship really fast and charge a nominal 5 dollar handling fee on all of our items to help lessen the shipping materials loss on every item large or small so just subtract that from the shipping charge and that will be what USPS or UPS or DHL or Fedex charges us.
Of course we combine won auctions if won within the same week. Just take the highest shipping amount and add 5 bucks per item that will fit in the box. This will be done automatically when you are invoiced. If items total gross weight makes this option unfeasible, they will be separated into two boxes and so on depending on how many items you have won from us in a week and their total weight. This option never has and never will apply to whole vehicles.
INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT COSTS
We ship overseas and will try to ship anywhere if possible on smaller products. Please know that due to past negative experiences that we only offer Priority Mail shipments to our out of country buyers. It costs more but the buyer receives insurance, tracking and speedy service which will make any auction winner happy and give them a sense of security knowing that they will not be ripped off as their item reaches them sooner.
RETURN POLICY
Unless otherwise stated in the item description, we do offer refunds. If you are wanting to return something the guidelines are; If we intentionally misrepresent it, we give full purchase price back. If you change your mind or did not take time to read the description and did not ask any questions specific to the problem before bidding, there is a 25% restocking fee to cover our time lost costs. Freight will NEVER be refunded as it has been spent and we cannot get it back. This is standard practice in the mail order industry.
FEEDBACK
Yes! We give feedback but only after you leave it for us. The buyer always grades first. We think we are doing a good job so if we are, we need you to support it. If not, please contact us before leaving a non-reversable negative. There is ALMOST ALWAYS a way to work things out. If not, more than likely we are not the problem. Remember, you get what you give. Use good disgression here. This is and should be important to all Ebay members. If you do not think so, get off the Bay!
LARGE ITEM SHIPPING
If you are in Iowa or near Iowa you may pick it up and will sign off on a document that states that you are happy with the item. Buyer of the item must be present with picture i.d. such as a drivers license.
If you are outside of the state of Iowa and want your vehicle delivered, you may want to go on line and contact a powersports broker such as funtransport.com or haulbikes.com. You will need to make your own arrangements for insurance once the item leaves our shop as we are off the hook for damages after it has been loaded.
Any complete units that are won via auction must be picked up in a "reasonable" amount of time from auction end unless prior arrangements have been made. We are not responsible for damage, theft, fire or other acts of destruction after the two week period. Said unit will become the property of MCPI and will be relisted if no contact with buyer can be established after that two week (14 working days) amount of time.
