Up for sale is this porcelain pair of salt and pepper shakers found at an estate sale, see picture. They appear to be a vintage set of owls, both looking up and one looking more up and off to the side. There is no information on the bottom of the shakers, other than Made in Japan. I do not know if the cork stoppers in the bottom are original. They each measure approximately 3 inches tall, and are white with pink, black, and brown accenting, as well as goldtone on the feet. Thye are in good condition, just a tiny bit dusty; however one of the owls has a tiny bit of one of his ears chipped off.
Due to the porcelain, insurance will be required for shipping this item.
