BirD-elicious Plucker's Natural Select 16 oz
If you suspect that your bird plucks because hormones
and/or because of high amounts of histamine or even
because of yeast overgrowth, this formula addresses
all of these issues!
Balanced in such a way to lower testosterone levels,
increase natural anti-histamines while lowering
natural histamines as well as limiting the amount
of ingredients that add to yeast growth, this formula
has become one of my personal favorites for my birds
who show a tendency to pluck! We have even included
ingredients to naturally clean the liver and kidneys.
This is a total “detox” and “balancing” formula.
An excellent daily diet,
you can feed "Plucker's Natural Select" on a permanent basis to help keep your
bird's hormones, natural histamines and yeast at balanced
levels.
You can feed this as a daily diet without adding any additional
supplemental foods, unless you wish to add a little bit of the
BirD-elicious! species-specific formula to insure that your
bird is receiving the “good fat” and the protein required for
the individual species. Also, if you do add other foods, we strongly
suggest you add only fresh organic foods. No processed foods or pellets.
In addition, make sure the added foods are not considered high in
phyto-estrogen's, natural histamines or sweet or starchy foods that create yeast.
This is a "one-size-fits-all" formula. Use it with just about any species.
If you find you need to use this on a much smaller bird than any of
the parrots, such as budgies, Cockatiels, small parakeets, we suggest
you break up the pieces to fit their beak size, or for the tiniest of birds,
run it through your food processor on "pulse" until the pieces are a usable
size compared to the beak (please use stainless steel blades).
Warning: DO NOT FEED PLUCKER'S NATURAL SELECT TO ANY BIRD YOU SUSPECT MAY HAVE METAL TOXICITY OR IRON STORAGE DISEASE! If you suspect your bird may suffer from either one of these diseases have your veterinarian test your bird's blood for these conditions, prior to feeding this food to your feathered friend. If your bird's blood indicates either of these disorders DO NOT feed this food to your bird.
