At one time we had over 50 tanks devoted to breeding African Cichlids, Rainbowfish, Angelfish and Ansistris catfish. Our staple diet is HBH flakes and pellets. HBH is a US manufacturer of premium quality fish food that is familiar to most breeders in the hobby. We receive our food directly from the factory and it is fresh, fresh, fresh. One look at the ingredient lists will show you that they include only marine sources of protein like krill, squid, anchovy, spirulina and brine shrimp. Just the best food and at the prices we can offer, it's just a great great value.

Having spawned over 40 different species of fish ranging from Angelfish to Zebrafish feeding a diet of flakes alone would not bring my fish into breeding condition. A strictly flake and pellet diet is great for maintaining your fish, but we want our fish to thrive and look their best. That’s why we also offer freeze dried foods. The freeze drying process locks in all the nutrients and helps in preservation. When we were raising hundreds of fry per month we relied on krill, mysis and plankton to not only bring our fish into spawning condition, but the high astaxanthin content of these crustaceans really made our fish shine.
