Payment: Please keep in mind that a bid is a legal, binding contract. Generally it is not possible to cancel a purchase once it is made. Payment must be received via Paypal within 3 days of the close of the auction or Buy It Now purchase. If you are buying more than one item do NOT pay until we have sent you an invoice with a shipping discount--ignoring this will result in paying full shipping costs for everything
If you don't want to pay with a credit card or debit card, remember that Paypal will also allow you to pay from your checking account (there is a several day delay while the payment clears, but not very long).
Money Orders: We prefer payment through Paypal and strongly urge you to use this service. If you absolutely must pay with a money order, we will accept a US Postal money order. Because of the increased risk in accepting non-Paypal payments, we ask that you keep in mind several important factors when using a money order:
You are voluntarily giving up the protection that Paypal offers both buyers and sellers (Remember, you can pay from a checking or savings account through Paypal...).
There may be a several day delay after we receive the money order until we have it deposited into our bank.
We are not responsible for money orders lost in the mail...not a bad idea to get delivery confirmation on something like that.
Include the eBay item # and your full shipping address with the money order. Double check to make sure that this address is legible and accurate--logically, we can't be responsible for something that is mis-delivered because we were given the wrong address (don't laugh, it's happened with some large, expensive items!).
We must have the money order within 7 days of the close of the auction or the time you used a Buy It Now purchase.
Shipping: This item will be shipped to the Paypal Shipping Address (you can add additional addresses to your Paypal account if you want it shipped to another address...) via UPS ground (or similar carrier). In order to provide you with the best quality, service, and selection, most items will be shipped directly from our supplier's warehouse in Cincinnati, OH. Shipping occurs promptly after receipt of confirmed Paypal payment (generally within 1 - 3 business days). In the very unlikely event of an extended delay in shipping we will contact you and keep in touch with you so that you are aware of the shipment status. The shipping charge is for street addresses in the continental United States. Shipping may be available to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada or PO Boxes, but you must email us with your city & zip code/postal code before bidding to obtain a shipping quote.
Local pickup is generally available at no cost. Please email us for details, instructions, and to make arrangements. Pickup generally can be arranged within 1 - 2 business days.
Combined Shipping: In many cases we can give you a discount on shipping if you pay for more than one item at a time (within 3 days of the close of the first auction). Because we sell a wide variety of items; some very heavy and/or large and some very small, it's not practical to automate the calculation of a combined shipping charge. You always pay the regular shipping charge for the most expensive shipping cost. As a rough idea, you can figure that the discount will probably be somewhere around 10 - 15% on each additional item (for real heavy or bulky items it may be considerably less while real small, light items it may be more). Feel free to contact us for an exact quote if amount of the discount is important to you (give us the exact item numbers of all items and your city and zip code.) If you plan to buy more than one item, do NOT pay for it until you have contacted us telling us that you have purchased multiple items and are ready for us to calculate your exact shipping costs. We will then send you an invoice for the correct amount. At THAT point you can pay for everything with one payment. If you have any questions about this combined shipping, please contact us.
Canada: At this point in time, shipping to Canada is not economically reasonable for most of our items. If we use Wordwide Express, the shipping cost is prohibitively high, if we ship it UPS ground, you end up paying a large brokerage fee. Hopefully we will have a better solution in the near future.
Returns: Please read the description of this item carefully. We unfortunately are unable to offer refunds on this item if you make a mistake or decide you don't want it. Asking any questions that you may have before bidding can avoid surprises and disappointment later.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in the item description, the following return policy will apply. At VGE Pets it is our goal to do what ever we can in order to have satisfied customers. At the same time, it generally is not possible to sell something as new when it has been returned by someone (we sell NEW items, not liquidations or store returns that may or may not be in 100% new condition...). Therefore, we will only offer a refund or exchange if an item arrived damaged or is not as it was described. In either of those cases, please contact us immediately for instructions on returning the item. Items must be returned within 7 days of you receiving them. Sales Tax: Items shipped to California or Ohio addresses will be charged sales tax.
Delay In Shipping; All our items are availabe and ready for shipping from the warehouse at the time they are listed. Generally the warehouse has our items shipped within 1 business day--during busy times it may take 2 - 3 days. On rare occassions a problem can develop where the warehouse is temporarily out of an item that has been purchased. This is very rare and generally the item is back in stock within a few days. In the very unlikely event that this were to happen after this item has been purchased, we will notify you just as soon as we know and keep you informed as to the status of your order. We know that you want to receive your purchase as soon as possible and will do everything we can to expedite your order.
